Manos Mexico Scholars

Fatima
Fatima, a bright and ambitious 14-year-old, hopes to join the 2025 Manos Scholarship Program. Currently in 8th grade, she has been a part of Manos programs since she was just 4 years old.  Fatima excels academically, with a strong interest in Spanish, English, Physics, and the Arts.  She is a dedicated athlete, with a love for soccer and running. Additionally, she enjoys painting, drawing, and crafts.  Looking ahead, Fatima dreams of pursuing a career in the military. With the support of the Manos Scholarship Program, Fatima is determined to achieve her goals and build a brighter future.

Guillermo "Memo"
Memo  joined the Manos Scholarship Program in 8th grade and has been a part of Manos programs since he was 5 years old. Today, he is a high school student at the Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos in Baja California, where he excels in Mathematical Thinking and Digital Cultures—two subjects he loves for their focus on problem-solving and technology..
​Guillermo is also a member of a teen local soccer league. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and contributing to his household by helping with chores.

ooking ahead, Memo dreams of earning a college degree, possibly in Tourism, as he is passionate about exploring new countries and learning about different cultures. With the support of the Manos Scholarship Program, he is on the path to achieving his goals and broadening his horizons.​

Juan Carlos
Juan Carlos joined the Manos Scholarship Program in 10th grade and has been a part of Manos programs since he was 6 years old. Now 17 and a senior at Cecyte Tecate, Juan Carlos is preparing for his next big steps toward a brighter future. He is passionate about Science, Technology, Social Sciences, and Psychology, subjects that inspire his curiosity. Outside the classroom, Juan Carlos stays active by playing soccer and volleyball. ​ After graduating from high school, Juan Carlos plans to pursue a degree in Physical Education and Sports Science.  He is excited about the opportunity to continue his academic and personal growth as he works toward his goal of building a fulfilling career.
