 The Manos En Cuba Program welcomed volunteers this summer for their very first Summer Camp Event. Pictured below: The day was filled with fun games and activities, incorporating cool water games, competitive games, and even slime! Manos continues to make amazing childhood memories thanks to volunteers and supporters! What a blast! THANK YOU!  Welcome volunteers Jeff and Tim! They were such a great addition to the fun, as they both have extensive experience running summer camps at the Manos China site.

Manos was able to meet a great need this past visit thanks to amazing support from Volunteers and Supporters -- Generators for each of the sponsored children were delivered. Originally, Manos planned on providing one large generator with cables that would be networked. We soon realized that it was possible to purchase smaller, individual generators. Funds raised beforehand covered the costs and this critical part of the relief effort was a success! Thank you all who helped make this possible! Above: the generators were delivered the same day Manos Volunteers arrived. Below: Supplies were hand delivered to the 6 children participating in Manos En Cuba Relief Efforts.  Dreams are unfolding as former Manos students and now Volunteers Cinthia & Jovani gear up for the possibility of adventures abroad in the near future. With enthusiasm, they obtained their Mexican passports in February, igniting the thrill of exploring the world and turning their dreams into reality. Exciting news!

Students in China had the time of their lives on the SEE Program Awards Trip to Beijing. New sights and sounds, new experiences helping our students see more, learn more, grow more! Manos' Model Travel Cultural Education Program 2016-2017 The Model Travel Cultural Education Program 2016-2017 took Manos kids at the Mexico and China sites to far-off places. This past program year we studied Japan, Finland, United Arab Emirates, and Cambodia--bringing the world to Manos Community Centers and inspiring children to learn more, grow more, and progress! A Truly Magical Halloween Halloween festivities at the Manos Mexico site are always magical! Kids, Volunteers, and Senior Choir Shine at Awards Ceremony & Olympics Camps The program year came to a close with an awards ceremony and Olympics themed Camp, where the Senior Choir also took part in the fun! Renovations Continue at Manos Sites In China, a new draw-down door, windows and a little paint makes such a difference. In Mexico, a new roof, lighting, and more are underway thanks to amazing support!  |
