The Manos México Scholarship Program was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2023. Students in poor, remote areas were among the hardest hit, as families faced financial challenges, leaving little to no resources for education. The result was that many students were forced to drop out of school
The Manos Mexico Scholarship Program alleviates some of the financial burden, by providing young scholars with the opportunity to stay in school and pursue their dreams. |

In 2023, Manos welcomed its first two students to the program, marking a significant milestone in our mission to support education. The program aims to expand each year, helping more students overcome obstacles and achieve success.
Through the generosity of Manos champion monthly donors, each student receives:
- A small monthly stipend for school-related expenses.
- Supplies at the beginning of each school year to help set them up for success.
How Monthly Donations Help
Every year, Manos tries to expand the program by identifying a Manos student to add to the program. This year Fatima has been selected to join the program. By lighting up all 10 backpacks, Fatima’s scholarship can be fully funded, ensuring the opportunity to continue her education and work toward her dream of breaking free from the cycle of poverty to create a brighter future.
