Manos Sites Transform through the Cultural Education Program

Over the years, volunteers have brought more than 20 countries to Manos community centers in China and Mexico. Each program year is filled with fun educational activities covering four countries. For our 2012-2013 year, students learned about Brazil, Spain, Madagascar, and Ireland. Community centers transformed into a "Rio Carnval" for Brazil, an "art musuem" for Spain, a "safari" experience for Madagascar, and a St. Patrick's Day "Pub" for Ireland. They'll never forget the parades in Brazil, the bull-run in Spain, lemurs in Madagascar, and St. Patty's Day in Ireland. The videos below were created for the children and were shared with them while "in-flight" to the next destination. As we put our imagination to work, the unique experiences of the Cultural Education Program have educated and inspired Manos children for years.
