Before & After: Technology at the Manos Mexico Site
When we first began programs in Mexico in 2003, many students were living without electricity, had never before turned on a TV or a computer. We've come a long way together, and today, students at the Manos Mexico Community Center are befitting not only from access to computers, the Internet, or movie night, but thanks to a generous donation of tablets from Board Member Melinda Ruby, students are benefiting from new technology. Tablets are currently being incorporated into English language classes, cultural education sessions and at free-time stations; and the children are learning so much and having fun with this new hands-on technology! Education and progression are keys to a better life!

Teaching In China Program Success
The 5th annual Teaching in China program this past summer welcomed twenty teachers for twenty days to work and experience an English Summer Camp in China. The camp was a huge success! Different cultures, ideas, and education was shared by all. An amazing camp and an amazing experience... 7th Annual SEE Program
Twelve underserved students earned the opportunity to participate in the 2012 Manos SEE program. Finishing in the top of their classes academically, students were awarded a trip to Beijing with the Student Educational Experience Program. This marked the 7th annual SEE program. Supporters stepped up to help sponsor all twelve students and assure no child was left behind. Special thanks to all those wonderful supporters who made this year's program an experience to remember for these impoverished children. To open the eyes of a child is to change a life forever.
