Supporters Rally for Manos China Project
With Winter fast approaching, the collapsing mud bathrooms pictured below were in dire need of being replaced for Manos children at the remote village site in China. Thanks to a quick rally for support, $700 was raised for the 2 new brick bathrooms. Construction is already underway and should be completed in a few weeks. This winter will be a little safer for the Manos China students! THANK YOU (more snapshots of new bathrooms soon to come.)

Rio Carnival Takes Manos Mexico by Storm
As Manos kicked off another year of the Cultural Education Program, the Manos Mexico Community Center came to life with the sights and sounds of Brazil during a Cultural Party, which completed the 4 week learning session about Brazil. From Samba music, a parade, and delicious Churrasco students had an amazing time celebrating Rio Carnival at their Manos Community Center.

Celebrating Brazil in China
Children at remote village sites in China began learning about Brazil this month. Manos sites transformed into Brazil through decorations, food, and music; and these children are having a memorable experience! Many children got the opportunity to play soccer for the first time in their lives!
