2012 Friendship Torch Run in Kansas City, Kansas USA
This leg of the Friendship Torch Run was organized by volunteer America Patton. As you can see, the children at this school site had a wonderful time! After sharing the contents of the Torch Box, which had just arrived from Mexico with photos and a memorable gift representing their country, the run was marked by special guest, former Olympian Clifford Wiley, who joined in the running of the torch and a presentation of medals for the kids. Thank you all who participated and supported this memorable event!
